Pokémon Go is going through the third major nest migration. Nests in Pokémon Go are real world locations where the same type of rare Pokémon spawns massively. There have also been reports of changing spawn points buzzing all over Reddit.
Niantic rolled out Pokémon Go version 0.39.1 on September 25, two days after the previous big update. However, the changelog remains the same except for the “minor text fixes”.
Pokémon Go is a very popular real world game of today. But as with any successful game, cheating is a common problem which follow suit. Niantic Labs have taken action against some of these cheaters by dropping the ban hammer on players guilty of using cheat tools.
As of version 0.35.0, a new method for fighting bots was discovered in the apk – captcha. When the server detects abnormal player behavior, they could be prompted with a captcha screen. These are mostly used for fighting with the bots and trackers.
For version 0.37.0, rooted Android devices (and jailbroken iOS devices) are blocked from loading the game.

Niantic announced a new Pokémon Go update is to be released early yesterday morning. The update is already in Apple and Android store now. It is version 1.9.0 for iOS and 0.39.0 for Android. There are several new features as well as some bug fixes that comes with this update.
Niantic has announced an update for Pokémon Go around midnight of September 23. With this new update, trainers can capture incense spawned Pokémon with Pokémon Go Plus. There will also be more info on the Pokémon page like the date and location of the capture.
Pokémon Go’s latest update brings the app to version 1.7.0 for iOS and 0.37.0 for Android. Trainers can walk with their Pokémon and gain candies to help the Pokémon grow further with the new Buddy System.

Pokémon Go version 0.37.0 is a solid update with the Buddy System added in. But it is not all good news as rooted Android devices (and jailbroken iOS devices) are now blocked from loading the game.
For those that is unaware, cheating and spoofing your location is rather easy on a rooted Android device. However, I could imagine that a large portion of the people that would be blocked from the game does not cheat but will be blocked nonetheless.
It is unclear how long version 0.35.0 will still work with rooted devices, but sooner or later Niantic will block trainers running pre 0.37.0 from loading the game.
If a rooted Android device tries to load the latest version of Pokémon Go, the following welcome screen will be displayed.

Now you can walk with a Pokémon and get candy of its type while doing so. Just like hatching eggs, rarer Pokémon will need more km registered in order to be rewarded.
